Workout: 5:45am Boxing/Cardio Combo at Fitness One
We litereally were doing all different combinations on the bag this morning as fast and hard as we could. The other part of the workout involved punching this pad on the floor which I had never done but the concept was the same. We ended with doing about 10 minutes of ab exercises. I was sweating a ton :/
Food: Breakfast: 2 Eggs scrambled with 1 egg white, spinach, 3 slices turkey deli meant, 1/4c. cheese, plain oatmeal, and 1/2c. strawberries: 347 Calories, 21g Carbs (15 net), 30g Protein, 6g Fiber, 12g Fat, 636mg Sodium, 3g Sugar
Morning Snack: Kashi TLC Bar and a Green Apple: 185 Calories, 40g Carbs (32 net), 5g Protein, 6g Fiber, 2g Fat, 66mg Sodium, 20g SugarLunch: Turkey Burger on Whole Wheat Bread with 1 slices low fat Colby cheese, carrots and greek yogurt dill dip: 360 Calories, 31g Carbs (24 net), 44g Protein, 6g Fiber, 19g Fat, 615mg Sodium, 6g Sugar
Afternoon Snack: Popcorn: 170 Calories, 16g Carb (13 net), 2g Protein, 3g Fiber, 12g Fat, 250mg Sodium, 0g Sugar
Dinner: I’m not sure what I will be having for dinner yet but I think we are going to have salmon. I will make sure to pair some veggies with that!
This week has been really good overall with everything. I am going to Virginia this weekend to visit Jeremy and I’m really excited. We are going to try and get a workout in tomorrow morning. I will try and post on my blog if I can but I’m not going to make any promises! I will, of course, have to be careful this weekend. I plan on sticking with the 5 meals and making sure I have healthy snacks and that whatever I eat for meals I am watching my portions and what I am eating. I feel like because I have put myself in a good routine in schedule, I am better set up to make good choices.
I will be going to a wine festival this weekend which I am super pumped about. Obviously, wine isn’t so conducive to the kind of diet that I have been trying to stick to. Therefore, I am going to have fun and sample wine but make sure I am drinking plenty of water to keep from being dehydrated. I am going to pack healthy snacks with me and try to not overdo it. But I’m going to have fun and not be too strict. I have been working hard and doing well so I think I deserve a little wine J
